This project is based on an interview between LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and journalist Per Sinding-Larsen. Murphy describes how his fear of failure resulted in him being unable to make music and the steps he took to overcome his creative block. Murphy’s words resonated with me, so I transcribed the interview and turned it into a small book that can be easily read in moments of self-doubt and frustration. The books were made with a DIY approach, printed at home on a single sheet of folded A4 paper.
